Frequently Asked Questions

Which countries do you ship to?

We currently only ship to the U.S.

Do you accept returns?

We only accept returns on stock builds by approval only. Custom builds cannot be returned. A stock build cannot be returned unless it arrives in a condition different from how it was described. Buyer must contact 9 Point Guitars in order to get approval for return in order to get a refund. We also reserve the right to charge a 35% restock fee.

How much do custom builds cost?

This all depends on woods, hardware, electronics, finish, and custom work such as engraving and inlays. Most fall in the range of $1299 to $1699. Again, this all depends on the options you choose.

How long does the build process take?

This all depends on the options you choose. We have a minimum lead time of 6 months. Most guitars go out in the 4-6 month range; however, some really specialized guitars take 6-8.

Is there a down payment involved on a custom build?

Yes. On custom builds we ask for a 50% or 75% deposit. This all depends on if there are any custom inlays and engravings.

Which pickups do you use?

We have a custom pickup builder we work closely with who builds our custom shop pickups to the specs we request. They are handmade in the USA with high quality parts. We can also install almost any name brand pickup you would like in your guitar.

How does the custom ordering process work?

To receive a free custom order form, send us an email. It will give us a good idea of what you are looking for if you complete the form as accurately as possible. Once you have sent it back to us, we then arrange a phone call, where we will go over every detail, and we will give you the price.
